Invoicing Clerk – FMCG/Food Industry

About the role

Responsible for capturing invoices and inter‑branch transfers (IBTs) on the system, ensuring accuracy of load consignments with picking slips, and resolving invoicing and IBT queries. You will coordinate with the Stock Controller to guarantee all outbound loads include Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and required documentation, while managing stock orders from the Durban warehouse.

Key responsibilities

• Capture invoices and IBTs accurately in the system.
• Verify load consignments against picking slips.
• Coordinate COA requests with the laboratory for outbound orders.
• Manage stationery orders and ensure proper documentation for truck loading.
• Handle COD customer payments, stock returns and GRV processing.
• Submit supply‑chain documents to Head Office via the site receptionist.
• Perform intercompany charge‑outs and reconcile Sage invoices.
• Submit departmental overtime sheets authorised by the Warehouse and Logistics Manager.

Required profile

• Matric certificate.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in invoicing or accounts receivable.
• Proficiency in SAGE (advantageous).
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
