Internship Programme – Finance, Journalism & Social Science

About the role

Krutham offers a structured internship programme for recent graduates to gain hands‑on experience at Intellidex. Interns can join for three or six months in Sandton, with opportunities in financial markets, financial journalism or social‑science research.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct macro‑economic, equities and fixed‑income analysis, preparing client reports and market research.
• Produce written content, conduct interviews and assist in publishing research‑based articles.
• Design and execute surveys, analyse data and support market‑research projects for financial services.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (BSc/BA) in economics, finance, statistics, journalism, media studies, sociology, politics, psychology, marketing or related fields.
• Legal right to work in South Africa for Sandton placements and availability for the chosen contract length.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Stata.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using financial data platforms such as Iress, Bloomberg and Infront.

What we offer
