International Business Development Executive – USA & UK Markets

About the role

Our client, an established South African company, is expanding into the USA and UK markets and seeks two International Business Development Executives. Reporting to the VP of Strategic Partnerships, you will own the full prospecting cycle, from market research to engaging senior decision‑makers and creating qualified partnership opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new B2B opportunities within the assigned international market (USA or UK).
• Build and maintain a targeted pipeline of prospective organisations.
• Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns and social selling.
• Research target companies, understand their business models and pinpoint relevant decision‑makers.
• Initiate conversations with directors, heads of department and C‑suite executives.
• Qualify leads, articulate potential commercial needs and progress conversations into viable partnership opportunities.
• Record activities and pipeline data in the company CRM system.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B business development or sales, preferably with an international focus.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new leads and convert them into qualified opportunities.
• Comfortable engaging senior executives and decision‑makers.
• Strong research, communication and negotiation skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
