Internal Sales Representative (VR 130)

About the role

We are looking for an Internal Sales Representative to serve walk‑in customers at our electrical wholesale store in Mossel Bay. The role combines front‑of‑house sales, stock handling and basic cash management, supporting the procurement and dispatch teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Sell electrical, lighting, solar and power distribution products to walk‑in customers over the counter.
• Manage daily stock movements, issue stock quantities and keep production records in collaboration with the Procurement Manager.
• Liaise with dispatch to guarantee on‑time deliveries and meet customer expectations.
• Process cash‑on‑delivery invoices, collect outstanding payments and handle cash sales with personal cash float.
• Enter telephone orders, create invoices, generate quotes and maintain customer profiles in the CRM system.
• Update pricing according to company policy and ensure all order details (order numbers, delivery address, contacts, special arrangements) are captured accurately.
• Issue credit applications and terms for new customers and ensure proper documentation for all stock movements.
• Participate in weekly and monthly sales meetings and assist with stock‑taking activities.

Required profile

• Valid Grade 12 certificate; N6 Certificate in Electrical Engineering is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical sales.
• Computer literate and able to work with CRM systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical products; familiarity with K8 product line is highly advantageous.
• Driver’s licence is a plus.
