Internal & External Sales Representatives – LED Lighting (Johannesburg & Cape Town)

About the role

We are looking for motivated internal and external sales representatives to support the growth of a national LED lighting company across Johannesburg and Cape Town. The role involves handling customer enquiries, preparing quotations, processing orders and collaborating with the external sales team to achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound sales enquiries via phone, email and online platforms.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate LED lighting solutions.
• Prepare accurate quotations, follow up on outstanding quotes and convert leads into sales.
• Process sales orders, ensuring correct pricing, specifications and delivery details.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify upsell opportunities.
• Support external sales representatives by providing product, pricing and delivery information.
• Liaise with stores, procurement, logistics and technical teams for smooth order processing.
• Keep customer and sales data up‑to‑date in the CRM/ERP system.
• Achieve monthly sales and gross‑profit targets and deliver after‑sales service.

Required profile

• Matric qualification.
• 2–3 years of internal sales experience, preferably in LED lighting, electrical, hardware or building materials.
• Strong telephone and email communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and relationship‑building abilities.
• Target‑driven, commercially minded and able to work under pressure.
• For external reps: valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
