Internal Consultant (Paarl)

About the role

The Internal Consultant will support the stockbroking team by handling client account onboarding, processing transactions, and responding to client inquiries. You will work closely with both internal stakeholders and high‑net‑worth clients, ensuring a seamless service experience.

Key responsibilities

• On‑board and maintain individual, corporate, trust & estate client accounts for local and international clients.
• Set up and manage client online access, process payments, cash transfers, share transfers and allocations.
• Assist clients with corporate action elections, generate statements, contract notes and tax packs.
• Process auto‑call and structured product applications, calls and rolls.
• Handle local and currency trading requests, including settlements and offshore remittances.
• Respond to general client queries, technical and digital issues, and prepare client records.
• Engage with stakeholders to identify service improvement opportunities and promote knowledge‑sharing within the team.

Required profile

• 2‑3+ years of experience in a financial services environment.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans with excellent communication and writing skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong planning, organisational and analytical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Willingness to work beyond traditional hours under pressure.
• Professional presentation and confidence when dealing with high‑net‑worth clients.
• High work ethic, integrity and proactive, self‑starter attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (MS Office Suite).
• Financial planning software such as XPlan or AtWork.
• Research platforms including Bloomberg, Morningstar and IRESS.
