Internal Auditor – Risk & Fraud Focus

Our client, a well‑established organisation based in Johannesburg, is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor with exposure to fraud risk management to join their team. Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits across key business processes and functions.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify areas of risk.
• Perform risk assessments and develop audit procedures.
• Identify and investigate potential control weaknesses and fraud risks.
• Prepare detailed audit findings and recommendations.
• Monitor implementation of agreed corrective actions.
• Support the development and improvement of internal control frameworks.
• Provide insights to management on key operational and financial risks.

Required profile

• BComm degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance or a related field.
• CIA or IIA qualification would be advantageous.
• 3+ years’ experience in internal audit.
• 1–2 years’ exposure to fraud risk, investigations or fraud prevention.
• Experience with risk‑based auditing and identifying control weaknesses.

What we offer

• Salary range: R 400 000 – R 450 000 per year.
