About the role
We are seeking an Internal Auditor to join our team in Durban North. The role involves reviewing financial documentation, identifying risks, and ensuring the integrity of our accounting processes.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate financial documents and statements for accuracy and compliance.
- Identify and assess financial risks across business units.
- Improve accounting and record‑keeping procedures.
- Assess operational efficiencies and productivity.
- Implement corrective actions to address identified issues.
- Verify the integrity of stock counts and inventory records.
Required profile
- B.Comm degree or equivalent qualification.
- 5–6 years of experience in an accounting or audit environment.
- Experience in the industry is essential.
- Familiarity with Pastel Evolution software is preferred.
Required skills
- Pastel Evolution (accounting software).
