Intermediate Backend Developer

About the role

We are seeking an Intermediate Backend Developer to join our technology team and help build and maintain the core backend services of our industry‑leading iGaming SaaS platform. You will work on high‑performance, scalable systems, APIs and third‑party integrations that power a seamless player experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for the iGaming platform.
• Enhance existing functionality and add new features to support business growth.
• Build and maintain integrations with third‑party and partner APIs.
• Develop and optimise components of the Remote Gaming Server (RGS) with a focus on performance, security and reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, QA engineers and DevOps teams.
• Participate in architectural discussions and help evolve backend infrastructure and standards.
• Conduct code reviews, promote best practices and write clean, well‑documented, testable code.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks and implement optimisations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Experience with caching solutions like Redis.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and version control using Git.
