Intercompany Analyst

About the role

An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic analyst to gain exposure in end‑to‑end intercompany processes across the Africa Zone and globally. The role supports the Business Service Centre in achieving operational excellence and high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute intercompany charge‑back requests, billings, payments, netting and cash applications.
• Create and upload intercompany‑related journals, including accruals, recharges and invoices.
• Perform account intercompany reconciliations, analysis and provide detailed transaction data to non‑finance teams.
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items, mismatches and aged items in FCCS and Cognos.
• Review intercompany charges for completeness and integrity, presenting corrective actions for recurring issues.
• Support weekly and monthly targets, SLA and KPI achievement, and participate in monthly closing activities.
• Provide customer support and respond to accounting‑related inquiries for intercompany processes.
• Maintain documentation for audit, statutory requirements and SOX controls, and present insights to the Team Lead.

Required profile

• Degree in accounting or related field; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably with intercompany processing.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, procurement‑to‑pay processes and commercial acumen.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize workload and manage stakeholder relationships.
