Integration Test Analyst

About the role

Tracker is looking for an Integration Test Analyst to join its Technology Department in Pretoria. The role requires a self‑starter with strong communication skills who will design, develop and execute quality‑assurance processes, test strategies and test cases to ensure software meets defined acceptance criteria.

Key responsibilities

• Develop test plans, approaches and scopes, provide estimates and improve test methodology.
• Review functional requirements, analyse completeness and clarity, and translate them into test scenarios and cases.
• Execute scenario‑based test cases, create necessary test data and log defects.
• Manage defect lifecycle, prioritize issues with development teams and support user acceptance testing.
• Report test coverage, metrics and status to project and test teams.

Required profile

• Matric and IT Diploma or related qualification.
• ISTQB Foundation certification (mandatory).
• Minimum 4 years of software testing experience, including 2 years within Tracker or a similar industry.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• ISTQB Foundation testing certification.
• SQL and database query tools.
• Experience with test management, requirements management and defect management tools.
• Knowledge of agile, functional and non‑functional testing methodologies.
