Insurance Broker – Short-Term & Commercial Lines

About the role

OUTsurance is seeking a proactive Insurance Broker to grow its short‑term and commercial insurance portfolio in Centurion. The role involves prospecting, selling personal and commercial lines, and building a client book while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand the business insurance portfolio by acquiring new short‑term and commercial policies.
• Sell personal lines and commercial lines through prospecting, canvassing, and lead generation.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
• Utilise sales support functions and adhere to compliance and underwriting guidelines.

Required profile

• Completed Matric or National Senior Certificate.
• Own reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access and a valid Code B driver’s licence.
• Minimum 3 years of external, face‑to‑face sales experience.
• Proven experience in lead generation and cold calling.
• Self‑starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Resilience and ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic environment.
