About the role

Join OUTsurance as a Broker in Bedfordview, where you will grow and develop a short‑term insurance portfolio. You will sell both personal and commercial lines, prospecting new clients and building lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand the business insurance portfolio.
• Sell personal and commercial short‑term insurance products.
• Prospect, canvass, and generate new business leads.
• Build and maintain a book of short‑term insurance policies.

Required profile

• Self‑starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Strong business acumen and analytical/numerical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem‑solving, relationship management and presentation skills.
• Resilience under pressure, flexibility and adaptability.
• Completed Matric (National Senior Certificate).
• Own reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access and a valid Code B driver’s licence.
• Minimum 3 years of external, face‑to‑face sales experience, including lead generation and cold calling.
