Insurance Accountant

About the role
We are partnering with a growing insurance business to appoint an experienced Insurance / Technical Accountant to join their finance team in Edenvale. This is a hands‑on role within a lean, entrepreneurial and agile environment, offering real ownership, broad exposure and scope to grow with the business.
Key responsibilities
- Manage premiums and claims accounting.
- Perform accounting, reconciliation and financial reporting.
Required profile
- BCom degree (completed).
- Direct accounting experience within an insurance or reinsurance business.
Required skills
- Excel (formulas and pivot tables).
- Premiums and claims accounting.
What we offer
- Salary around R600,000 per annum plus 13th cheque and incentives (negotiable).
- Office‑based role in Edenvale.
