About the role
The Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality is recruiting an Inspector for Bus Services within its Spatial Planning and Development Directorate. The post covers transport planning and operations for buses, with a total package of R 323 458.07 (reference 143/26). Applicants do not need to complete an application form.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain discipline amongst drivers
- Carry out ticket examinations on buses in service
- Handle public enquiries
- Attend to accidents involving buses
- Check buses to ensure they are in good condition
- Conduct inspections and spot checks, and report on drivers
Required profile
- Grade 12
- Valid code B/EB driver's licence
- One year of related experience
