About the role
We are looking for an Injection Moulding Operator I to join our production team. The role focuses on safely operating and maintaining injection moulding equipment to ensure optimal effectiveness and product quality.
Key responsibilities
- Operate equipment and manage associated processes and performance.
- Interpret and implement the production plan for each shift.
- Operate manual and automatic moulding machines according to standards.
- Ensure process quality and productivity.
- Perform administrative tasks such as tracking and monitoring processes and taking corrective action when required.
- Manage process inputs and outputs and address negative trends.
- Apply Quick Fix Routines as triggered.
- Initiate and contribute to problem‑solving activities.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Required profile
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- Experience working in an injection moulding environment.
- Post‑matric qualification (e.g., N4, National Diploma) – advantageous.
- Certified Injection Moulding Setter – advantageous.
