Information Security Analyst

About the role

Supports the IT functionality of all business units and hotels by delivering secure solutions to internal users. Troubleshoots security issues, monitors trends and ensures system uptime. Provides insight into emerging security challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain hardware and software to meet security standards, including WAN/LAN protection.
• Conduct awareness training, PCI‑DSS, GDPR/POPI assessments, penetration testing and vulnerability management.
• Manage incident response, escalation handling and 24/7 support to minimise downtime.
• Administer change management, disaster‑recovery policies, testing and reporting.
• Develop and enforce IT security policies, monitor compliance and recommend enhancements.
• Support first‑line technicians, manage relationships with third‑party suppliers and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12, National Diploma in IT and certifications: N+, MCSA, ITIL v4, Security+, Microsoft 365 Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
• At least 4 years of experience in incident response, intrusion prevention, advanced server/network support, Azure and virtualization.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to work on‑call, including standby and emergency availability.
• Advantageous: experience in hospitality IT and CEH certification.
