Independent Subcontractor Driver (Own Vehicle) – Cape Town

About the role

Indgro Outsourcing is looking for reliable independent subcontractor drivers who own a suitable vehicle to transport passengers across Cape Town and surrounding townships during night shifts. The role requires navigating a variety of urban routes and delivering a professional service to clients and the public.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and drop off assignees at agreed locations between 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., seven days a week.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage and vehicle maintenance.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean, road‑worthy and compliant with safety standards.
• Report any delays, route changes or emergencies immediately to the company.

Required profile

• Valid South African driver’s licence with a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP/PDP) and a clean driving record.
• Membership of the relevant Taxi Association.
• Own a reliable 6‑seater sedan or 7‑seater vehicle (e.g., Toyota Avanza) suitable for passenger transport.
• Reside in or around Cape Town townships such as Dunoon, Joe Slovo, Langa, Nyanga, Khayelitsha or Delft.
