Inbound Telesales Representative – Johannesburg

About the role

Xe is looking for a dynamic Inbound Telesales Representative to join its Johannesburg team. As a Junior Associate you will be the first point of contact for potential and existing customers, helping them understand our currency services and converting interest into sales.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls, provide information, answer queries and qualify sales opportunities.
• Promote Xe’s products and services, tailoring the message to each caller’s needs.
• Convert qualified leads into sales and guide customers through the transaction process.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, opportunities and follow‑up actions in Zendesk.
• Collaborate with the broader sales team to ensure smooth handoffs and support overall sales targets.
• Deliver an excellent customer experience, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
• Adhere to standard processes and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously develop knowledge of the currency market and payment services.

Required profile

• High level of English proficiency.
• Previous experience in a customer service or sales role.
• Strong interest in financial services and currency markets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Zendesk or similar ticketing systems.
