Implementation Specialist & Quantitative Analyst

About the role

The role focuses on daily cash clearing, money‑market dealing and implementation across all Prescient Investment Management mandates. You will manage liquid assets, negotiate with banks, price interest‑bearing instruments, ensure regulatory compliance and support the Cash & Income team with quantitative research.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cash clearing for all portfolios, invest liquid assets, meet cover requirements and negotiate rates with banks.
• Manage money‑market dealing, run cash‑flow forecasts, execute trades, and ensure compliance with regulations such as Reg28 and CISCA.
• Create and maintain asset records in Eagle and Front Office systems, including structured notes and new FI assets.
• Update and maintain the credit‑rating database, ensuring accurate data for the Cash & Income team and compliance functions.
• Assist with quantitative research, process improvement, and migration of cash‑management processes to the Prime portal.
• Perform ad‑hoc checks on management fees, fund fact sheets, performance attribution and fund disclosures.

Required profile

• 2‑6 years of asset‑management middle‑office experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial services, unit trusts and relevant regulations.
• University degree in finance, mathematics, statistics or business; postgraduate studies or CFA preferred.
• Excellent Excel skills and proven coding ability, preferably in Python.
• Experience with back‑office systems and integration with Eagle.
