About the role
We are seeking a qualified ICU Unit Manager to lead a high‑performing critical care team at a leading private hospital in Limpopo. The role focuses on delivering patient‑centred excellence and driving quality improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily ICU operations and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Lead, mentor and develop nursing staff, fostering teamwork and professional growth.
- Manage staffing, scheduling and resource allocation effectively.
- Uphold hospital policies, clinical protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Drive quality‑improvement and infection‑control initiatives.
- Collaborate with intensivists, allied health professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure accurate documentation, audits and performance reporting.
- Promote a culture of excellence, accountability and compassionate care.
Required profile
- Degree in Nursing (or related field).
- Degree in Critical Care Nursing.
- Degree in Nursing Administration & Nursing Education (or related).
- Minimum 3 years experience as an ICU Unit Manager.
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
