ICU Registered Nurse – Critical Care

About the role

Our client, a Cosmetic Surgery Institute, is seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses (RN) or Professional Nurses (PN) to work part‑time night shifts in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng. The role involves delivering high‑quality critical care to post‑operative patients in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU/critical care unit following the nursing scope of practice.
• Monitor vital signs, manage ventilators, and administer medications as prescribed.
• Assess and document patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.

Required profile

• Valid South African Nursing Council (SANC) licence.
• Immediate availability for night‑shift work.
• Previous experience working in an ICU ward.
• Strong understanding of the nursing Scope of Practice and patient‑care standards.
