About the role
The municipality seeks an ICT Intern to support end‑user computing services for a one‑year term. The role involves diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues to maintain uninterrupted operation of municipal IT systems.
Key responsibilities
- Provide end‑user support, including analysis, diagnosis and resolution of software and hardware issues.
- Ensure optimal and uninterrupted functionality of operating systems and applications across the municipality.
Required profile
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Relevant ICT qualification at NQF Level 6 (National/Advanced Diploma or Degree).
- Basic understanding of ICT concepts and practices.
- Good interpersonal and client‑service orientation.
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve.
- Age between 20 and 35 years.
- South African citizenship.
