Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

O’Two Hotels is looking for a detail‑obsessed Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily room operations across its two luxury brands, Terra by O’Two and Mar by O’Two. The role ensures rooms are ready, presented to the highest standards and that the team works efficiently to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate rooms and duties to room attendants and housekeeping team members.
• Inspect guest rooms, suites, corridors, pantries and service areas to ensure standards are met.
• Check amenities, linen, minibar items, maintenance concerns and overall room presentation.
• Update room status, special requests and housekeeping communication in Protel and related tools.
• Coach team members on cleaning sequence, presentation, timing and guest‑aware behaviour.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Laundry, Maintenance and Public Areas to ensure smooth room readiness.
• Report damages, defects, lost property, stock issues and service concerns accurately.
• Support deep cleaning, VIP arrivals, turndown preparation and pre‑opening readiness where required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience, preferably with supervisory exposure.
• Currently holding a similar role within a 4‑star or 5‑star luxury hotel environment.
• Eligible to work in South Africa.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Protel PMS experience (essential).
• Strong room inspection, cleaning standards and linen control.
• Ability to lead a team with a sharp eye for detail.
