About the role
This is a permanent Level 2 housekeeping position within the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment in Cape Town. The role offers an annual salary of R144,024 and is suitable for candidates with Grade 9 / ABET Level 2 qualifications.
Key responsibilities
- Clean offices, boardrooms, kitchens and passages
- Prepare tea and water for meetings
- Remove and dispose of waste
- Maintain stock of cutlery, crockery and cleaning materials
- Report faults, loss and breakages
Required profile
- Grade 9, ABET Level 2 or equivalent (NQF 1–2)
- Cleaning experience is an advantage
- Understanding of one of the official languages used in the department
- Responsible and able to work in a team
