About the role
Reporting to the Hospital Cluster CEO, the Hospital Manager will lead high‑performing teams to manage the hospital platform, execute strategy, and ensure business sustainability for all stakeholders. The role involves close collaboration with doctors, group managers and the executive team to drive growth initiatives, innovation and digital transformation.
Key responsibilities
- Drive key financial and quality metrics aligned with strategic imperatives.
- Oversee recruitment and marketing of new doctors in line with the hospital’s vision.
- Collaborate with business units to implement new technologies and manage integration challenges.
- Build and manage relationships with medical professionals and key stakeholders to foster growth and brand loyalty.
- Ensure quality customer service consistent with the Group’s mission, vision and values.
- Maintain operational practices aligned with the organisation’s operating model and ethical standards.
- Achieve financial targets supporting the growth agenda while managing productivity and cost efficiency.
- Lead people management and develop high‑performing teams.
- Monitor technology health of applications and infrastructure, addressing bottlenecks and driving user adoption.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, legislative and clinical standards and track key risk indicators.
Required profile
- Relevant university degree; a postgraduate business qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years’ leadership experience with a proven record of delivering results.
- Prior healthcare management experience is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategy, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal agility.
- Well‑developed business, commercial and financial acumen with budget management expertise.
- Ability to lead change, integrate across teams and processes, and think on multiple levels simultaneously.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high integrity, dependability and results‑driven attitude.
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, change management and decision‑making skills.
- Passion for impact, curiosity to improve, and resilience to solve business challenges.
