The International Hotel School Durban Campus seeks a passionate Higher Education Lecturer to inspire and guide students pursuing careers in hospitality. You will share industry expertise, support student development, and contribute to their long‑term success.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions in hospitality subjects.
• Develop, update and assess curriculum and learning materials.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
• Maintain accurate records and administer assessment processes.
• Monitor student throughput and pass rates, ensuring high standards of achievement.

Required profile

• NQF Level 7 hospitality qualification (essential).
• Registration with ETDP SETA as an Assessor (beneficial).
• Scope by CATHSSETA (beneficial).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant, practical industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years of lecturing or teaching experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with relevant computer software and strong administrative abilities.
• Solid knowledge of curriculum design and assessment practices.
• Demonstrated track record of student throughput and pass‑rate success.
