About the role
We are offering 12‑month contract positions for Helpdesk Operators at our reference laboratory in N1 City, Cape Town. The role requires a high level of ethics, integrity and alignment with PathCare values while providing support to medical customers.
Required profile
- Client‑focused with excellent attention to detail
- Initiative and problem‑solving ability
- Fluent English communication and basic Afrikaans understanding
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills
- Ability to work under pressure, independently and as part of a team
- Adaptability, innovative thinking and calm temperament
- Positive attitude, flexible work‑style and willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Acceptable track record in technical and behavioural competencies
Required skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Knowledge of Meditech Laboratory Information System (advantageous)
- Pathology knowledge or experience (advantageous)
