Healthcare New Business Partner

About the role

Our client, a leading provider of specialised healthcare logistics solutions, is looking for a Healthcare New Business Partner to drive growth across pharmaceutical, medical‑device and broader healthcare sectors. Based in Johannesburg, you will identify, qualify and convert new logistics opportunities while ensuring compliance with cold‑chain and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify prospective clients in the healthcare, pharmaceutical and medical‑device logistics market.
• Build relationships through consultative selling and understand client operational and regulatory needs.
• Develop and present tailored logistics proposals, negotiate commercial terms and secure signed contracts.
• Coordinate hand‑over of new accounts to implementation and operations teams, maintaining accurate CRM data and sales forecasts.
• Provide pipeline updates, market intelligence and support pricing model development.
• Collaborate with operations, customer service, finance and quality teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and continuously improve sales processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of sales, customer engagement or business development experience within a healthcare logistics environment (junior level).
• Strong understanding of healthcare distribution, regulatory and cold‑chain requirements.
• Proven ability to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
