About the role
The Head Bartender will supervise and plan beverage services for events and member areas, ensuring high guest satisfaction while managing stock and variances.
Key responsibilities
- Organise, plan, order, and control all bars and vending machines for beverages at Woodmead.
- Place orders for stock based on daily requirements in outlets and functions.
- Lead and attend stock counts and manage any variances.
- Ensure service standards, stock levels, and pouring/preparation standards are maintained.
- Manage all equipment related to beverage and coffee service.
- Assist in the bar as needed while maintaining service standards.
- Supervise, train, and manage bartenders on service standards, stock par levels, pouring and preparation standards.
- Complete paperwork related to beverage control, including consumption sheets and transfers.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage deliveries.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar hospitality role.
- Minimum Matric or equivalent qualification.
- Drivers licence (advantageous).
