Hardware Support Consultant – First‑Tier Telephonic Support

About the role

Agrinet is looking for a Hardware Support Consultant to deliver first‑tier telephone support, assist customers with enquiries and orders, and provide product guidance. The role combines sales generation, client relationship management and ensuring customer satisfaction through professional communication.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑tier telephone support, answering calls promptly and resolving queries while minimizing hold and transfers.
• Prepare accurate quotations, process orders in the ERP system, confirm payments and achieve outbound call and sales targets.
• Update customers on order status, stock availability and product pricing, and communicate any product changes.
• Maintain low abandon and idle rates, manage busy time efficiently and meet service‑level standards.
• Maintain organized filing, archive emails, record weekly orders and support ad‑hoc tasks across the business.

Required profile

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• At least three years of relevant sales or call‑centre experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
• Strong verbal communication and ability to work under pressure.
