Half-Day Bookkeeper (Fourways, Johannesburg)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, detail‑oriented Half‑Day Bookkeeper to manage day‑to‑day financial administration for our business in Fourways. This permanent part‑time position offers stable morning hours for a professional who enjoys keeping accounts clean and accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑function accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations, statement follow‑ups and allocations.
• Process and reconcile bank cashbooks accurately on a daily/weekly basis.
• Assist with month‑end routines, journal entries and trial balance preparation.
• Handle routine financial filing, invoice processing and ad‑hoc administrative support.

Required profile

• Matric with a relevant bookkeeping or finance qualification (Certificate/Diploma).
• Proven solid experience in a general bookkeeping role covering debtors, creditors and cashbooks.
• Strong working knowledge of Sage Pastel accounting software.
• Reside locally in or near Fourways, hold a valid driver’s licence and have reliable personal transport.
• Exceptionally organised with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
