GSE Maintenance Assistant – Boulder Bay

About the role

The GSE Maintenance Assistant will ensure the smooth operation of resort facilities by performing high‑quality repairs, routine maintenance, and supporting refurbishment projects. You will work closely with the handymen team to keep all assets in optimal condition.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and routine maintenance on buildings, plant, machinery, furniture, equipment and facilities.
• Assist with refurbishment, construction and other capital projects.
• Provide technical and mechanical support to handymen across the resort.
• Work shifts, weekends, public holidays and be on standby for emergency situations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar maintenance role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong practical knowledge of general maintenance principles.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Specialist maintenance skills or a valid Code B driver’s licence are an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow.
