Group Structure, Trust, and Tax Support Manager

About the role

Our client seeks a detail‑oriented Group Structure, Trust, and Tax Support Manager to oversee a sophisticated portfolio that includes shareholder trusts, offshore entities, and commercial property assets. This role offers exposure to multi‑jurisdictional compliance and strategic estate management within a high‑stakes, discretion‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end financial health of shareholder trusts, prepare management accounts, advise trustees on tax efficiency, and oversee regulatory filings (CIPC, SARS, beneficial ownership).
• Serve as the primary liaison for overseas corporate service providers, monitor international fund flows, and ensure seamless tax compliance across multiple foreign jurisdictions.
• Drive operational success of commercial office spaces by managing lease agreements, tenant sourcing, and related financial reporting and maintenance.
• Proactively monitor local and international tax law changes, engage specialist advisors, and align internal processes to mitigate group risk.

Required profile

• BCom Honours and Chartered Accountant (SA) designation (non‑negotiable).
• Minimum 2 years post‑articles experience in a tax‑focused function or specialised financial services environment.
• Exposure to trust administration, offshore structures, or property management is highly advantageous.
• Deep understanding of South African and international tax regulations.
• Exceptional organisational ability for multi‑entity management and professional maturity to handle sensitive ownership information.
