About the role

GreenCape is seeking ambitious graduates to join its Green Economy Graduate Trainee Programme. The role offers hands‑on exposure to green‑economy projects across sub‑Saharan Africa, allowing you to develop technical expertise while tackling real‑world challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of programme milestones and partner commitments aligned with GreenCape’s mission.
• Collaborate with the wider GreenCape team, sharing insights and contributing to additional projects as needed.
• Engage with stakeholders to address barriers to viable green economic solutions.

Required profile

• A relevant degree (e.g., Engineering, Economics, Resource Management, Environmental Sciences); postgraduate degree preferred.
• No prior work experience required, but a strong interest in the green economy and transition.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office and general computer literacy.
