About the role
The Amahlathi Local Municipality is offering a 12‑month graduate internship in Information Technology within its Corporate Services department. This programme is funded by the Local Government SETA and aims to provide recent National Diploma graduates with practical experience in a municipal environment. Interns will support IT operations, assist with system maintenance, and contribute to project tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in the Graduate‑Internship mentorship programme and related skills training.
- Rotate through various sections of the Corporate Services department and other related units to gain broad exposure.
Required profile
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

What we offer
- Stipend of R78 000 per annum.
