About the role
My client, an international fintech company, is looking for a graduate for a data engineering role.
Key responsibilities
- Configure and implement bespoke software for various clients.
- Understand clients' business requirements, focusing on research and investment processes of asset managers.
- Construct end‑to‑end data service solutions.
- Provide 2nd‑tier support and enhancement services to clients.
- Develop, test, and maintain data architectures such as databases and large‑scale processing systems.
- Employ various scripting languages and tools to integrate systems and improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
- Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.
- Employ sophisticated analytics and statistical methods to prepare data for prescriptive modelling.
- Automate work using process flow tools.
- Provide feedback to the development team regarding new functionality and issue logging.
- Create user interfaces allowing users to upload their own data.
