About the role
Absolute Pets is looking for a highly organised GRA Clerk to manage inter‑branch transfers (IBT) at its Gauteng warehouse in Kempton Park. The role ensures timely processing of incoming and outgoing stock, maintains accurate records and supports the warehouse team in daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all incoming IBTs from stores, debrief drivers and ensure documentation is correct.
- Monitor outgoing IBTs, flag ageing transfers and keep all IBTs current (no older than 48 hours).
- Investigate short or over deliveries immediately and use Fleetcam to verify delivery consistency.
- Record truck damages, prepare management reports and clear “Think time” tickets daily.
- Allocate returned stock to the appropriate bins in the system and hand over items requiring write‑off to inventory.
Required profile
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to investigate discrepancies and communicate issues to management.
- Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Proactive approach to maintaining accurate records and meeting ageing targets.
