Global Financial Controller

About the role
This urgent vacancy is for a Global Financial Controller with a well‑established client. The role is based in Johannesburg and will oversee financial operations across all countries and regions where the company operates.
Key responsibilities
- Lead month‑end and year‑end financial closing processes.
- Provide reporting and analysis support to senior management.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and planning activities.
- Maintain and optimise the systems landscape, including SAP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA.
- Assist with digitalisation initiatives and investment business case preparation.
- Ensure governance, process compliance and proper documentation across all financial activities.
Required profile
- Matric or equivalent qualification.
- Business Administration degree or comparable commercial training.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar financial controller role.
- Ability to work across multiple regions and manage cross‑functional financial tasks.
