General/Finishing Foreman – Cork

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Foreman or Finishing Foreman to join one of Ireland's leading Tier 1 construction contractors. Based in Cork, you will play a pivotal role in delivering large‑scale residential, commercial, healthcare, education and industrial projects across the Munster region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and daily construction activities.
• Oversee general construction and finishing works to ensure quality standards are met.
• Work closely with Site Management, Health & Safety and project teams.
• Monitor progress against programme schedules and provide regular updates.
• Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and regulations.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety and overall project delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a General Foreman, Finishing Foreman or Senior Foreman on large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong background managing subcontractors and construction teams.
• Ability to deliver projects within demanding timelines.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of quality, safety and construction processes.
