General Worker / Stores Person – Warehousing

About the role

We are seeking a results‑oriented, self‑motivated individual to join our dynamic warehouse team in Cape Town. The role involves a variety of tasks that keep the warehouse running smoothly and ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and general housekeeping of the warehouse.
• Assist with order checking, picking, packing and verification against tickets and invoices.
• Support the assemblies department by assembling stock items when required.
• Handle the repackaging of damaged stock and wrap pallets as needed.
• Participate in off‑loading container shipments, stock takes, and cycle counts.
• Empty bins and dispose of empty boxes according to warehouse procedures.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by management to achieve company objectives.

Required profile

• School Certificate (minimum Grade 10).
• At least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Self‑motivated, task‑oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
