General Worker / Production Assistant – 15 Positions

About the role

The General Worker / Production Assistant will support production, packaging and warehouse operations across various PepsiCo plants in South Africa, ensuring efficient manufacturing and distribution of our products.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products.
• Perform general cleaning of production floors, machines and work areas.
• Support packaging and sorting of products on the production line.
• Move stock using trolleys or pallet jacks (training provided).
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
• Report any machine faults or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Follow all company safety, health and environmental procedures.
• Assist with any other duties as instructed by the line manager.

Required profile

• South African citizen with a valid ID.
• Grade 10 or ABET Level 4 qualification (Grade 12 advantageous).
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and overtime as required.
• No criminal record and basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to work in a team and follow safety instructions.
