General Worker Positions – Cradock, Polokwane, Vivo, Lephalale

About the role

VKB Commercial Services is hiring general workers for its GWK Retail and NTK divisions across several South African locations. The role involves supporting daily operations in retail, warehouse and mechanisation environments, ensuring smooth stock handling, housekeeping and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general support services and assist with loading and off‑loading of stock.
• Perform cleaning, housekeeping and shelf‑care duties to maintain store standards.
• Handle stock control, movement activities and irrigation equipment where applicable.
• Assist customers and suppliers, support security and loss‑control initiatives.
• Carry out mail handling and other labour‑related tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Basic reading and writing skills; Grade 10 minimum (Grade 12 preferred for Cradock).
• Grade 12 or NQF 4 qualification for NTK positions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and work overtime or weekends when required.
• Good communication skills, reliability, punctuality and team orientation.
• Previous retail, warehouse or agricultural experience is advantageous.
