About the role

We are looking for a General Office Cleaner to maintain a clean and hygienic environment in our corporate office located in Sandton, Gauteng. The role involves daily cleaning duties to ensure the workspace meets health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks across various office areas, including dusting, sanitising, and disinfecting surfaces and equipment.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors to uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Empty waste bins regularly and follow proper waste disposal practices.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and checklists for consistent service.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by management.
• Participate in training sessions to improve cleaning techniques and equipment knowledge.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 11 education or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a cleaning role within a corporate or commercial environment.
• Basic understanding of hygiene practices and proper handling of cleaning materials.
• Familiarity with the facility layout to ensure efficient cleaning processes.
• Knowledge of various cleaning products, their applications, and safety measures.
