General Manager – KZN Operations

About the role

GEOTECH is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its KwaZulu‑Natal (KZN) operation. This senior leadership position requires a commercially driven professional with strong operational expertise and a proven track record in B2B sales and business development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall performance of the KZN operation, driving growth, revenue and profitability.
• Manage operational performance, service delivery and commercial risk.
• Own budgeting, financial reporting and stewardship of income statements and balance sheets.
• Develop, mentor and manage cross‑functional teams, including the sales function.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand existing and new business.
• Maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
• Contribute to EXCO discussions and provide clear performance reporting.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Commerce, Operations or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant management experience with clear career progression.
• Previous experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager, Commercial Manager, Regional Manager or senior Branch Manager.
• Demonstrated B2B sales experience and strong commercial acumen.
• Proven people‑management and leadership capabilities.
• Experience reporting to senior executive committees (EXCO) or equivalent.
