General Labourer

About the role

We are looking for a reliable General Labourer to join our manufacturing team in Scarborough. In this position you will support the end‑to‑end production of custom window coverings, working closely with skilled operators and quality staff. The role offers a full‑time schedule and the chance to develop hands‑on experience in a fast‑moving apparel and workwear environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly and production of custom window coverings, ensuring each unit meets design specifications.
• Operate and maintain machinery used in the manufacturing of blinds, following safety and maintenance protocols.
• Follow established procedures to uphold quality standards throughout the production process.
• Participate in quality‑control inspections, helping to identify and correct any deviations from specifications.
• Support the packaging and final assembly of finished products, preparing them for shipment.

Required profile

• Strong English communication skills to follow instructions and collaborate with team members.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
• Availability for a full‑time schedule (approximately 37.5–40 hours per week).
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow quality procedures.

Required skills

• Machinery operation – ability to safely use and maintain production equipment.
• Sewing machine operation – preferred experience, though not mandatory.
