About the role
Kinexa is seeking an experienced G6 (6G) Welder for a short‑term mining project in Zambia. The role involves high‑quality structural and pipe welding on mining equipment and infrastructure, working within a site‑based team to meet tight project deadlines.
Key responsibilities
- Perform structural and pipe welding in line with project specifications.
- Fabricate and repair welding on mining equipment and structures.
- Maintain compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the on‑site project team to achieve schedule targets.
Required profile
- Valid G6 (6G) welding qualification.
- Minimum 3 years experience in mining or heavy‑industrial environments.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
- Valid passport for travel to Zambia.
Required skills
- Arc Welding CO₂ (MIG)
- Flux Core Welding (FCAW)
- TIG Welding (GTAW)
- Welding of structural steel, pipework and platework
- Aluminium and stainless‑steel repair welding
- Exposure to boilermaking (advantageous)
