About the role

Philip Morris International’s 36‑month Future Leaders Program – Commercial is designed for ambitious professionals who want to drive commercial transformation across borders. The programme combines two high‑impact rotations, starting in your home market and culminating in an international assignment, giving you exposure to diverse markets, senior leaders and real business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Gain business fluency by working on commercial operations, transformation agendas and market priorities in the home market.
• Own and deliver key projects that shape outcomes across functions, strengthening decision‑making and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead data‑driven initiatives in an international assignment, delivering measurable value while navigating local regulations.
• Inspire and coordinate cross‑border teams, balancing local needs with PMI’s global direction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a global organisation with exposure to multiple markets.
• Advanced English fluency, both written and verbal.
• Legal right to work in South Africa without sponsorship.
• Willingness to relocate internationally during the programme.
