Furniture Consultant – @Home Livingspace (40 hrs)

About the role

The Furniture Consultant will act as a brand ambassador for @home Livingspace, delivering personalised furnishing and lifestyle solutions to customers. You will engage with shoppers, analyse their needs and guide them through the purchase journey while staying current on product trends and releases.

Key responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience and build meaningful relationships by understanding individual needs.
• Achieve and exceed personal sales and service targets through consultative selling and effective closing techniques.
• Convert enquiries into sales by leveraging deep product knowledge and staying up‑to‑date with promotions and industry trends.
• Maintain showroom presentation, merchandising standards and optimal stock levels.
• Take ownership of personal performance and contribute to overall store profitability and growth.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets, preferably in a target‑driven or commission‑based environment.
• Experience selling premium, high‑value or aspirational products is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong customer engagement, relationship‑building and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced retail setting and adapt to flexible scheduling, including weekends, public holidays and evenings.
