Furniture Consultant – 40hr Full-time

About the role

The Furniture Consultant will act as a brand ambassador for @Home Livingspace, delivering personalised furnishing and lifestyle solutions to customers. You will engage with shoppers, understand their needs and guide them to the right products while meeting sales targets in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience by building meaningful relationships and offering tailored furnishing recommendations.
• Achieve and exceed individual sales and service targets through consultative selling and effective closing techniques.
• Convert enquiries into sales by leveraging deep product knowledge of furniture, décor and household appliances.
• Maintain showroom presentation, merchandising standards and optimal stock levels.
• Stay up‑to‑date with product releases, promotions and industry trends to advise customers accurately.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets, preferably in a target‑driven or commission‑based environment.
• Experience selling premium or high‑value lifestyle products is advantageous.
